One Account, Every Device
Ragnarok: The New World launched July 16, 2026 across PC, iOS, and Android with shared account progress under the same Gravity login. Characters, inventory, mail, event calendars, and refine progress sync when you play on the same server region — start a dungeon on Steam at lunch, finish dailies on your phone during a commute, and claim rewards on either client.
Gravity built ROW as a true cross-platform MMORPG rather than separate PC and mobile shards. Pre-download opened July 14; Steam went live July 15; SEA mobile service opened July 16 at 10:00 UTC+7. Link your account before creating a second character on another platform so pre-registration mail, Kafra VIP Pass, and redeem codes attach to one profile. Walkthrough: Download & Install.
Offline auto-hunting continues server-side regardless of which device you last used. Activate Kafra VIP Pass once, set your farming map, then log out — earnings accumulate whether you close Steam or the mobile app.
Linking Steam, Mobile, and Official Client
Step 1: Use one email-backed Gravity account everywhere. Social logins (Google, Apple, Facebook) must map to the same publisher ID — do not create parallel accounts on different emails.
Step 2: On first launch of each platform, open Settings → Account → Platform Link (label may vary by patch). Bind Steam, Google Play, or Apple Game Center to your existing ROW profile instead of starting fresh.
Step 3: Select the same server on every device. Cross-platform sync is per-server; a character on Server 3 PC does not appear on Server 7 mobile. Pick your server carefully using our Server Selection Guide.
Step 4: Redeem codes once per account from the login-screen Gift Code Exchange — rewards arrive in mail accessible on all linked clients. See How to Redeem Codes.
PC 120 FPS and Performance Advantages
The Steam and official PC client support up to 120 frames per second on capable monitors — Gravity targets smooth open-world PvP and dungeon combos without stutter. Enable uncapped or 120 FPS in Settings → Graphics → Frame Rate Limit. Pair with a discrete GPU and sixteen gigabytes of RAM for crowded Prontera during launch week.
Mobile devices typically cap at 60 or 90 Hz depending on hardware. Battery saver mode reduces heat but hurts timing on MVP mechanics — switch to Performance mode for guild bosses. Full tuning: Settings & Performance.
PC advantages include precise mouse targeting for Gunslinger and Hunter kiting, custom keybinds from PC Controls, and stable frame times during GvG. Mobile advantages include portability and touch-friendly auto-battle for material farms — many veterans run dailies on phone and push MVPs on PC.
Cross-Platform Tips for Launch Week
Day 2 priority (July 17, 2026): If you started on Steam July 15, link mobile today before friends invite you to guilds on a different server. Confirm mail and VIP pass on both clients.
Event calendars are account-wide — claim login streaks on whichever device is convenient. Limited-tab banners still expire on server time; do not assume mobile notifications cover PC-only maintenance.
PvP arenas allow mobile entries, but PC players may have input precision edges in 1v1 — read PvP Modes before ranked push. Trading and stalls work identically across platforms via Trading & Economy.
