Launch Week Context — July 16–22, 2026
SEA servers opened July 16, 2026 at 10:00 UTC+7 — Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and partner territories. Steam went live July 15. This is live service: progress carries forward, unlike the wiped Genesis Test. If you completed Launch Day Guide steps, you already redeemed codes, claimed pre-reg mail, and picked a starter class.
Your first week goal is not perfect gear — it is efficient habit formation: daily login streaks, guild membership, quest board timing, and safe refine stops before chasing +10. Track Limited-tab events on Current Events — many launch banners expire within seven days.
Day 1 vs Day 2 — Quest Strategy
Day 1 (launch day): Follow main story quests and mandatory tutorial board prompts. Do not hoard board quests for later on day one — ROW's early progression expects you to learn systems through guided tasks. Complete Getting Started milestones: unlock storage, skills, and the Event tab.
Day 2 onward: Community consensus shifts to Quest Board stacking — accept high-EXP commissions in your level bracket and complete them in efficient kill zones from Leveling Guide. Pair board clears with Daily Routine dungeons and Time Corridor entries for gear materials.
Join a guild by day 2 at latest. Players without a guild miss MVP spawn callouts, party invites, and donation milestones that compound all week. Guild chat is the fastest way to learn boss mechanics during launch chaos — treat an empty guild slot as lost progress, not a cosmetic choice. Read the dedicated Guild Guide for orders, donations, and weekend events.
Run the Prontera Dance daily for Paradise Coins (Paradise Shop). Refresh Quest Board tasks to orange quality before accepting for maximum EXP and Zeny per minute.
Redeem any codes you missed — including launch-day ROW0716 — within 48 hours via All Redeem Codes.
Guild, MVP, and Kafra VIP Idle
Join a guild by day 2–3. Guild chat surfaces MVP spawn callouts, party invites, and refine advice. Without a guild you lose coordinated boss windows and milestone rewards that casual solo players notice by mid-week. Even a casual guild unlocks donation milestones and group content faster than solo LFG. Read MVP Hunting before your first serious boss attempt.
Kafra VIP Pass: Pre-registration grants a permanent VIP pass via mail — activate it early. VIP unlocks reliable offline auto-hunting and convenience bonuses that compound over launch week. Without VIP, idle earnings are limited; check mail from Pre-Registration Rewards if you have not claimed it.
MVP schedule: Coordinate weekend spawn windows with guildmates. Launch events may boost MVP drops — stack with MVP Hunt Priority targets matching your level bracket.
Star Stones, Refine, and Class Commitment
Star Stones fund premium consumables and gacha-style pulls. During week one, spend Star Stones on permanent convenience — storage, VIP extensions if offered, or account-wide unlocks — not disposable cosmetics. Free codes and dailies cover most refine stones; read Refine & RNG Systems before gambling past safe +7.
Refine target for week one: Main weapon to safe +5–+7 using Safe Refinement +15 rules. Armor stays at +4 until your weapon tier stabilizes. Plan costs in Refine Cost Planner.
Class commitment: Job Freedom lets you swap all eight classes free — but refine ores are not free. Test Mage or Gunslinger farming first, then experiment with Druid if you want hybrid forms. Revisit Class Tier List after live balance data accumulates post-launch.
Day-by-Day Checklist (Days 1–7)
Day 1: Codes, mail, main quest, Event tab Limited banners, first safe +4 weapon. Day 2: Quest board focus (orange refresh), join guild (Guild Guide), unlock wings (Free Wing Unlock). Day 3–4: Time Corridor dailies, Paradise Dance habit, first MVP with party, weapon +7. Day 5–6: Farm two Vadon Cards (Cards & Enchants), list auction duplicates (Trading & Economy). Day 7: Review tier list, read Launch Week Tips, plan week-two class or refine push, burn expiring event tokens.
