Three Ways to Respec
Ragnarok: The New World removed the classic RO fear of permanent bad builds. You have three practical reset paths on SEA live service (day 46, August 30, 2026):
- Job Freedom class switch — changing jobs clears and rebuilds the skill/stat sheet for the new role. Overview: Job Freedom. Strategy: Job Freedom Strategy.
- Hub-city reset NPC — mid-job Zeny respec without swapping class. Use when you dump STR for leveling then need VIT for castle night.
- Kafra VIP free skill reset — permanent launch pass perk. Claim: Kafra VIP Pass.

What Resets Do Not Refund
- Refine ores spent on a weapon stay on that weapon. Plan with Refine Cost Planner.
- Cards socketed stay until you extract or replace per server rules — Cards & Enchants.
- Shadow Gear progress is slot investment, not a skill tree — Lv.75 Shadow Gear.
Stash alternate weapons in Kafra Storage before you flip Mage → Crusader for August 31 Siege.
When to Reset This Weekend
Before Monday August 31, 21:00–22:00 WIB Siege: lock a named tank (Knight / Crusader) or healer (High Priest) sheet if your guild is short. Asura Monks who keep suiciding into Paladin reflect should respec SP and rotation — Asura Strike, PvP Tier List.
Do not respec five times in one day “because YouTube.” Pick a farmer and a castle role — two sheets max — then run Week Eight Energy on the farmer.
