Six Stats, One Character
ROW uses the classic six: STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, LUK. Job Freedom resets stats when you change jobs, so a leveling dump is disposable. Do not spend Star Stones on respecs. In-game Build Plan after Job 2 (around level 40) is the template you should copy first — walkthrough: Build Recommendation.

First-Week Dumps That Do Not Waste Stones
- Mage / Wizard: INT, then DEX for cast. Fire-Earth or Ice-Lightning later — Mage Build, Wizard Build.
- Gunslinger: DEX + AGI, enough STR only if weight is the problem. Burst king: Gunslinger Build.
- Swordsman → Knight: STR while leveling, full VIT before Time Corridor Hard and Monday Siege — Knight Tank.
- Acolyte → Priest: INT + VIT. Battle Priest adds STR. Siege healer: High Priest.
- Monk / Champion: Asura wants ATK and Max SP (STR + INT), not a LUK experiment — Asura Strike.

Soft Caps Worth Knowing
ASPD 193 is the published cap. Extra AGI past cap is wasted on auto-attack jobs. Hit still matters on high-flee MVP and Arena; DEX is the cheap fix before you buy hit cards. Weight is STR plus bag upgrades — overweight cuts ASPD and move speed; Merchant feels it first.

When to Respec
Respec on job change is free. Mid-job respec for Zeny exists in hub cities — use it when you swap Knight leveling STR into castle-night VIT, not every time a YouTube video drops. Week eight still wants a named tank and a healer on August 31: Week Eight Guide.
