The Half-Anniversary Celebration marks six months since Ragnarok: The New World launched in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on January 15, 2026. This is regional TW/HK/MO content — SEA players (Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia) launched July 16, 2026 and receive different event calendars.

Sign-In and July 15 Celebration Day
TW/HK/MO half-anniversary sign-in began July 2, 2026, building toward the main celebration on July 15. Key rewards included the Half-Anniversary Gratitude Chest with consumables, refine materials, and limited cosmetics.
Gravity also reset first-purchase double bonuses for the anniversary window — a one-time shop incentive returning players watch for on every major milestone. SEA launch month used different first-purchase timing; do not assume identical dates when this pattern eventually reaches SEA.

Sweet Evolution and Server Cake Event
Sweet Evolution is the half-anniversary server-wide cake event — players contribute ingredients through dailies and guild activities until a shared milestone unlocks tiered rewards for every participant on the server. Cake events teach cooperative progression habits that guilds reuse during later seasonal banners.
Rewards typically mix account-bound cosmetics, upgrade materials, and celebration titles. F2P players should prioritize material tiers over pure fashion unless the cosmetic is permanently account-wide in the wardrobe.
Star Fortune Flip, Cosmetics, and Returnee Bonuses
Star Fortune Flip added a gacha-style mini-game with free daily attempts and premium pulls — common in TW milestone patches. Free attempts alone often cover baseline materials; spend Star Stones only on non-renewable items if you participate.
Half-anniversary also distributed free cosmetics and mounts through login streaks and achievement tabs. Returnee invite campaigns doubled rewards when veterans invited lapsed friends — similar structures appeared during SEA pre-registration friend milestones.

Gravity ran a KFC Hong Kong collaboration from June 29 through July 19, 2026 — real-world meal codes and in-game emotes bridging IP partnerships outside the client. Offline collabs do not always repeat on SEA, but they signal Gravity's regional marketing intensity around milestones.
