What Soul Destroyer Actually Is
Soul Destroyer is the Assassin Job 2 sheet that throws a ranged nuke instead of standing in Katar range. Damage converts to ranged physical and scales from ATK, MATK, STR, and INT together — so mixed offensive gear is not a mistake. Best content: Arena, Guild War, and opening a single target. Worst content: dense field packs, where Rolling Cutter Katar still wins.

Leveling Path — Hunter First If You Are F2P
If you are not a heavy spender, level Hunter first for about a week and pick up an Orc Archer Card while the skill is still ranged physical. Farming that card later from Assassin is slower. Then Job Freedom into Assassin.
Until level 70, run a cheap Jur / dagger and do not dump refine into dual-dagger sets you will replace. At 70, the community weapon is Holy Dagger (Royal Holy Dagger if you can afford Baldur Might). Armor: Odin set for ATK + MATK + physical and magic damage. Accessories: Baradium Brooch + Nile Rose on current sheets.
Skills, Specials, and Cards
Thief: Double Attack 10, Double Slash 10, Improve Dodge 10, Hiding 5, Dodge 5. Assassin: Two-Hand Mastery 10, Venom Knife 5, Viral Spread 10, Enchant Poison 5. Advanced: Soul Destroyer 10, Enchant Deadly Poison 10, Poison Buster 10.
Special skills: Silent Mind (cooldown −0.2s, +2 m range, damage per rank), Focused Mind (echo nuke ~2s later), Way of the Assassin (partial physical and magical defense ignore). Refine the dagger to +15 when stones allow; Job Transfer can move refine between dagger and shield if one ore type dries up.
PvP cards (common sheet): weapon Skeleton Worker / Hydra, armor Agriope or Dark Frame, cape Nine Tail, shoes Zombie then Wild Rose, accessories Mantis then Orc Archer / Zealotus. PvE: size, race, and element cards on the weapon; Peco Peco or Rocker armor as fillers. Skip poison converters on Undead — ask a Priest for Aspersio instead.
When Not to Play This Sheet
Field EXP, Board kill quests, and Time Corridor packs still prefer Katar crit or a real AoE class (Wizard, Karnos Arcanist, Gatling). Keep a second Job Freedom preset. Enchantments: Ruby / Sobbing Starlight / STR gems beat a low-rank premium gem; only buy Domineering or Arcane gems when the rank actually beats your current basic gem on a dummy.
Rune pages have no universal “correct” tree — a glass offensive page that dies to Pumpkin Parade is a DPS loss. Balance with Rune Engine the same way tanks do.
