Three Forms at a Glance
The Druid is ROW's first shapeshifting class on mobile — one character covers melee, ranged, and nature magic by swapping forms mid-combat. Each form uses different weapons and stat priorities, which makes Druid the most versatile but also the most planning-heavy class at SEA launch.
| Your priority | Best form | Weapon type |
|---|---|---|
| Beginners learning Druid | Werewolf | Axe / melee |
| Solo farming & kiting | Wereraptor | Knife / ranged |
| AoE mob packs | Human Arcanist | Blunt / nature magic |
| Highest skill ceiling | Human Arcanist | Blunt / nature magic |
| PvP skirmish flexibility | All three (master one first) | Multiple sets |
Full skill paths and gear: Druid Build. Hands-on preview: Druid Class Preview.
Werewolf — Melee Brawler
Role: Close-range sustain fighter with lifesteal and line-breaking pressure. Stats: Strength and Vitality primary; Agility for attack speed. Best for: Players who enjoy face-tanking and short combo windows.
Werewolf excels in small skirmishes and party frontline swaps — transform in when the party needs melee burst, then shift out before focus fire lands. Solo leveling is viable but less safe than Wereraptor because you must stay in melee range. Pair with potion automation and safe armor refine per Safe Refinement +15.
Wereraptor — Ranged Kiter
Role: Aerial ranged DPS with high mobility and wind-element attacks. Stats: Dexterity and Agility primary. Best for: Solo farmers, F2P players, and open-field MVP kiting.
Community week-two data favors Wereraptor for safe solo progression — you circle mobs at maximum range, break line of sight on adds, and spend less on recovery potions than Werewolf. The form matches ADL Hunter philosophy without needing a second character; compare ranged basics in ADL Hunter Build.
Downside: lower burst than Gunslinger on single-target MVPs until Karnos advancement unlocks stronger bird-form skills.
Human Arcanist — Nature Caster
Role: Grounded nature mage with glacier, thunder, and AoE field control. Stats: Intelligence primary; Dexterity if cast variable matters on your client. Best for: Dense mob maps, party AoE clears, and players who enjoy Mage-style farming with Druid flavor.
Human form is the strongest AoE farmer among Druid shapes but the squishiest — positioning and party support matter. If you already main Mage via Job Freedom, test Human Arcanist on the same character before investing duplicate refine sets.
Biggest Mistakes New Druids Make
- Spreading refine across three weapon types before mastering one form — pick Wereraptor or Werewolf first, push one weapon to safe +10, then branch out.
- Transforming every skill rotation — form swaps have timing cost; stay in one shape for full mob packs unless the fight demands a role change.
- Ignoring Job Freedom — Druid is A-tier provisional; Gunslinger and Mage still level faster if you only need one farmer — use Class Switch Planner before committing stones.
- Skipping Build Recommendation — the in-game template system gives starter stat and skill paths per form; details on Build Recommendation.
F2P verdict: Druid is viable free-to-play if you commit to one form early. Wereraptor is the most forgiving for solo week-two farming; Human Arcanist rewards players who already understand Mage kiting.
