Why Vadon Cards Matter on Day 5
By day 5 (July 20, 2026) of SEA launch week, most players have cleared Time Corridor habits, joined a guild, and pushed a main weapon toward safe +7. The next highest-impact gear goal is farming two Vadon Cards before launch week ends July 22.
The Vadon Card grants +20% damage against Fire-property monsters. That bonus applies to both physical and magic attacks — one of the few early inserts that helps every DPS archetype. Fire targets appear in Moonlight dungeon segments, several guild MVP contribution windows, and popular early field packs. Two copies let you slot accessories and armor without re-farming later.
Community guides from Thailand and Philippines launch coverage agree: Vadon is the single best card investment before chasing MVP-specific drops or expensive enchants. Pair this page with Cards & Enchants for insertion rules and First Week Guide for the full day-by-day checklist.
Where to Farm Vadon
Vadon is a level ~19 Water-property crab that spawns in coastal and underwater zones near Prontera. Follow your level bracket from Leveling Guide — Vadon packs sit in the sweet spot where XP penalties stay minimal and kill speed stays high.
Party vs solo: Party clears raise kills per hour dramatically. Guild premades often run Vadon trains on launch week evenings — ask in guild chat before burning an hour solo. Shared kills feel smoother when guild contribution buffs are active.
Drop rate reality: Card drops are low-percent RNG. Budget 1–3 focused sessions for two copies rather than expecting instant results. Some launch events grant a guaranteed first card — check the Event tab before farming. If auction prices are reasonable, buying one copy and farming the second saves time on day 5.
Day 5 Efficiency Checklist
Morning: Clear Time Corridor triple, guild orders, orange Quest Board refresh. Midday: Vadon farm session or auction snipe — list duplicate ore and green gear while prices remain inflated. Evening: Guild MVP train for Angel Poring Headband progress — MVP Hunting.
Do not skip Time Corridor for Vadon farming — dungeon materials still beat open-world efficiency. Slot Vadon cards on cheaper gear first (accessories, boots) before your main weapon unless you are certain you will keep that weapon through week two.
Codes reminder: July 16–17 starters — redeem all launch codes today if your 48-hour window is closing — All Redeem Codes.
After Two Vadon Cards
Shift to race cards matching your current farming map (Undead, Insect, Demon) before MVP-specific inserts. List extra Vadon copies on the Exchange — supply floods after day 5 and prices drop.
