What Is Offline Auto-Hunt?
Offline auto-hunt lets your character keep earning EXP, Zeny, and drops after you close the client — one of ROW's signature convenience features at SEA launch. Gravity designed the system so mobile and PC players can progress during work, sleep, or commutes without leaving the device running.
The feature requires the permanent Kafra VIP Pass — claim it free from pre-registration mail or launch login rewards. Without VIP, you must stay logged in for auto-battle. Full VIP perks: Kafra VIP Pass Guide.
Offline rewards are capped by daily stamina and map efficiency. You choose a hunting zone before logout; the server simulates kills at reduced rates compared to active play. Pair offline hours with active sessions using Daily Routine and Daily Priority.
How to Set Up Offline Auto-Hunt
- Claim Kafra VIP Pass from mail — see Pre-Registration Rewards.
- Open the auto-hunt panel from the main HUD (sword icon or VIP menu — label varies by client version).
- Select a map matching your level bracket with Recommended monsters for 110% EXP bonus — Energy System.
- Stock potions and bag space — overflow loot goes to mail.
- Confirm duration and log out. Rewards accumulate until the timer ends or stamina depletes.
Week two tip (July 29): run offline on the job you are leveling via Job Freedom — swap to farmer class, set auto-hunt, log out overnight. Strategy: Job Freedom Strategy.
Best Maps and Week-Two Targets
Pick fields where your character one-shots or two-shots packs — kill speed matters more than mob level during offline simulation. Mage and Gunslinger offline best on dense AoE maps; Hunters prefer single-target corridors.
Do not offline on MVP spawn camps — contribution loot requires active play. Use offline for board-quest materials and baseline EXP while you sleep, then burn Combat Energy actively after reset per Week Two Guide.
Merchant players can offline DPS farm while running stall sessions on alternate logins — economy loop in Trading & Economy.
