Players searching “ROW PC specs” keep hitting leftover CBT blogs that still quote 8 GB RAM. That figure is outdated. The Steam store page for Ragnarok: The New World (app 4212480, published July 26, 2026) lists:

Steam vs Standalone vs Mobile
Steam and the standalone Gravity launcher run the same SEA world on one Gravity account. Steam still opens a second Gravity login window — that is not a second install of the game world. If overlay crashes, use the standalone client; characters stay. Overlay traps: PC Troubleshooting.
Mobile (Google Play / App Store in SEA) is the same character with lower RAM pressure. Flagships hold 60 FPS in fields; crowded Prontera dance floors still hitch. Cap FPS and effects in Settings & Performance.
Steam UI languages: English, Indonesian, Thai, Simplified Chinese. Traditional Chinese players on SEA still play; the store language list is not a server lock. NA/EU ping: Global & NA/EU Release.
What Actually Drops Frames
- Prontera peak hours — dance floor, stalls, and 13 castle traffic. Drop shadows and crowd density first, not render scale.

- Time Corridor Hard and Final Mirage — particle-heavy. Close overlays (Discord, GeForce, Steam) before the pull.

Storage and First Patch
Budget 30 GB on an SSD before you click Install. HDD loads in Prontera are long enough to miss board refreshes. First launch still downloads extra packs — keep the client in the foreground.
