What Changed in Version 2.0.5
The Apple App Store changelog for Ragnarok: The New World 2.0.5 (posted around August 10, 2026) is short: Optimize Secondary Password Rules. Gravity Game Vision did not publish a long English essay with it. In practice the secondary password is the extra PIN the client asks for before sensitive account actions — trading, stall listing, some cash-shop confirms, and sometimes character deletion.

How to Set or Change the Lock
- Open Settings from the HUD (gear icon) or the login-screen Account panel.
- Find Secondary Password / Security PIN — labels vary slightly between English, Indonesian, Thai, and Traditional Chinese clients.
- Create a numeric PIN you do not reuse on Discord or email. The 2.0.5 pass is described as an optimization of the old rules (length, retry lockouts, and when the prompt appears) — follow the on-screen length hint rather than a third-party blog from launch week.
- Confirm once. The next stall list, trade accept, or warehouse move should ask for the PIN.
Forgot the PIN: use in-game Customer Service under Settings. Gravity will not ask for your PIN in Discord DMs. Overlay crashes while typing it: PC Troubleshooting.
When the Game Will Ask for It
- Player stalls and auction listing — enable before you post +12 weapons. Economy background: Trading & Economy.
- Direct trades with friends or randoms in Prontera.
- Some warehouse and mail attachments after the 2.0.5 rule pass — if a mail item refuses to move, enter the PIN then retry.
- Cash-shop or Star Stone confirms on some builds — spend rules: Star Stones Guide.
MVP loot and Time Corridor rewards do not need the PIN. Auto-hunt and Energy spends do not need it. If the prompt appears on every skill press, you have a different bug — repair the client instead of turning security off.
Steam, Mobile, and One Gravity Account
