What Opened on August 11
Gravity Game Vision opened the first large online guild cup for RO仙境傳說:世界之旅 on August 11, 2026 in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Chinese coverage (Bahamut GNN and publisher recaps) calls it 世界之旅盃 — World Tour Cup. Five stages test guild coordination, not just one Arena queue. Cheer ambassador coverage and in-person Today at Apple (Xinyi A13, August 9) sat beside the cup as marketing, not as SEA signup.
On August 13 the TW client also opened an expanded World Catch pass with a new SSR pet. SEA already has World Catch from the 2.0.4 family — field guide: World Catch.

SEA Players — You Are Not Automatically Entered
SEA live service opened July 16, 2026. Characters do not move from TW/HK/MO onto SEA Steam or the standalone launcher. Gravity repeated that split in the Steam FAQ. If you play SEA, World Tour Cup is a spectator and prep page: watch how Gravity structures guild brackets, then spend August on Monday Siege and League so your roster is not learning callouts in November.
The global money event for both blocs is Legend Cup (Squad Arena prize pool over ₱68 million, Guild Battle from November 10). Do not spend Star Stones on TW-only cosmetics hoping they transfer. Spend rules: Star Stones Guide.
What the Cup Tells Us About Gravity Events
- Guild cups want voice, a named tank, and a healer — the same stack Monday Siege already trains — Siege War.
- Publisher pages talk five stages and ranking rewards. Treat stage names on unofficial blogs as unofficial until they appear in the Event tab.
- Field pet updates can ship in the same maintenance window as a cup. Do not skip Catch dailies because a bracket is on TV.
