Two Wardrobes, One Character
Creator breakdowns (including the widely watched “Should You Play ROW?” video) are consistent on a split new players miss: headgears are gear with combat stats; costumes are a collection layer that grants account-wide bonuses as you unlock looks. Rarer headgear rolls stronger effects. Red-tier headgear that only drops from gacha materials is the wallet spike. Costumes themselves are often stat-neutral in the wardrobe slot — the power is the collection checkbox.
The same videos estimate on the order of ~230 max HP from 13 costumes, scaling toward roughly 6,000 HP if you owned all 337 listed looks. Those numbers are a creator’s snapshot, not a Gravity white paper. Treat them as “the collection bar is real and large,” then check your Collection UI after each patch. Card and pet collections stack on top — album: Card Album. Pets: Pets & Mounts.

What F2P Should Collect
- Event login costumes (BABYMONSTER window closed August 16 — code may still redeem).
- Story and achievement looks — Achievement Guide.
- Wonder Tour free track pieces if you play the season — Wonder Tour Battle Pass.
Do not buy costume gacha before weapon +12 and Resonance 2 armor. Refine: Safe Refinement. Star Stones: Star Stones.
Headgear Priority
Socket and refine the headgear that matches your job. A green story hat with the right stat beats a red gacha hat you cannot afford this month. Enchant rules still apply — Cards & Enchants.
